McLeuker Browser Operator — Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

What this extension does

McLeuker Browser Operator connects a single browser tab you explicitly authorize to your own McLeuker account, so the McLeuker assistant can perform a task in that tab using sessions you are already signed into. The extension never reads, stores, or transmits your passwords.

Data we access

  • A finite set of page actions (click, type, read text, scroll, navigate, screenshot) on the one authorized tab only, for the duration of one authorized task. These actions are exchanged over a TLS WebSocket with your own McLeuker workspace so the assistant can operate that tab. We do not relay raw DevTools traffic.
  • The single-use connect link you paste, stored locally in the extension only — it is a short-lived pairing code, not a password or auth token.

Data we do NOT access or store

  • We do not read, collect, store, or transmit your passwords.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or fingerprinting.
  • We do not touch any tab other than the one you authorize, and we detach the moment that tab is closed or you click Stop.
  • We do not retain page content after the task; action results pass through, not warehoused by the extension.

Data sharing

None. Action traffic flows only between the authorized tab and your own McLeuker workspace over TLS. No third parties. Nothing is sold.

Your control

Every task requires an explicit one-time Authorize. You can stop at any instant by closing the authorized tab or clicking Stop & disconnect. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored settings.
