McLeuker Reports is the studio in McLeuker AI that turns a brief into the finished business document. Not an outline, and not a picture of a deck: a PowerPoint built from real text boxes, shapes and native charts, an Excel workbook with typed cells and live formulas, a Word document with styles and a table of contents that updates, or a PDF when you need a fixed record. It reads before it writes, and the claims it makes carry their sources.

A board pack produced as an editable PowerPoint
A slide from a quarterly board pack the platform produced: every shape, table and chart is editable in PowerPoint.

Reports in one minute

  • What you give it: what the document has to argue, who it is for, and any figures or files it should work from.
  • What you get back: a PPTX, XLSX, DOCX or PDF, and optionally a ZIP with Markdown, an HTML page, CSV and chart images alongside.
  • How long it takes: a few minutes, because it researches before it builds.
  • Who it is for: strategy and consulting teams, finance and investor relations, brand and marketing, founders and business development.
  • Where to start: the Reports page lets you open one example in each format. Signed in, Reports has its own studio.

How it works

  1. Say what it has to argue. Pick a report type or leave the format on Auto, and describe the document in a sentence or a paragraph.
  2. It reads before it writes. Live sources, a two-source check on concrete claims, and the citations kept with the claims they support.
  3. It builds the artefact. A deck is written as real PowerPoint objects, a model as a real workbook, a document as real Word styles.
  4. You open it and change it. A number updates, a title changes, legal softens a line: that is a thirty-second edit in the application the file belongs to.

What you get back

The formats do different jobs, and Reports treats them that way:

  • PowerPoint: real text boxes, shapes and native charts, so it takes your template and your numbers can be corrected.
  • Excel: typed cells and live formulas, so changing an assumption carries through the model.
  • Word: headings, styles and a table of contents that updates, for anything that will be edited by several people.
  • PDF: the fixed record, for sending.

The examples include a quarterly board pack, a three-year P&L model, a proposal and statement of work for a website rebuild, and a market analysis. The wider library on Report Examples shows more.

Where it fits across the nine sectors

  • Fashion: plan the range before the buy is committed and build the time and action calendar.
  • Beauty: plan an eight-week launch campaign and track creators and the value they earn.
  • Textile: score a fabric inspection on the 4-point system.
  • Lifestyle: model the P&L for a new line.
  • Sustainability: structure the data for a digital product passport and publish a supplier code of conduct.
  • Fashion Tech: prepare a board pack.

Briefs to try

  • "A Q2 board pack: revenue against plan, burn, product milestones, hiring and the two decisions we need from the board."
  • "A 3-year P&L model for a direct-to-consumer wellness apparel line, with CAC, AOV, repeat rate, margin and cash."
  • "A sell-in deck for SS26 aimed at department-store buyers: collection story, hero pieces, wholesale prices and delivery windows."

Survey lives here too

Inside the app, Survey sits in the Reports section as its own studio. It puts a questionnaire to a synthetic panel of the fashion value chain and returns a reading; you can then hand the questionnaire to Reports. Read the Survey guide for how it works.

What it does not do

  • It does not flatten a deck into images. If the file cannot be edited, it has failed; that is the line Reports is built on.
  • It does not know your internal numbers unless you give them. Research fills the market picture; your sales, costs and plans come from you.
  • It does not replace review. A deck is fast to check when it is editable and every figure has a source. Check it anyway before it goes in front of a board.

Frequently asked questions

What is McLeuker Reports?

It is the document studio in McLeuker AI. You describe a document and it researches, writes and builds it as an editable PowerPoint, Excel, Word or PDF file.

Is the PowerPoint really editable?

Yes. Slides are built from native PowerPoint text boxes, shapes, tables and charts, not exported images, so you can retype, recolour and re-chart anything.

Can it build a financial model?

Yes. Workbooks come with typed cells and live formulas, so changing an assumption recalculates the model. Check the assumptions before relying on the output.

Where do the facts come from?

From live research at the time of the run, with the source kept beside the claim, and from any figures or documents you provide. For the workflow in detail, read from research to a finished deck.

McLeuker AI is the AI platform built for fashion, with research, creative and production studios that each return a finished file. See them all on the products page, or open Reports and ask for the document you were going to build this afternoon.
